Day 1 :   Yerevan City tour

In the morning meet your tour guide and start city tour from the Republic Square, the masterpiece of the architect Alexander Tamanian. Continue to Cascade, Victory Park, Opera House, Freedom Square and Swam Lake. Visit Tsitsernakaberd. Walking through Memorial park and museum of the victims of Genocide. Drive to Echmiadzin – the place where the only Begotten descended. Holy Echmiadzin is the whole Armenians’ spiritual center and one of the centers of Christianity all over the world. Return to Yerevan with a stop at the ruins of Zvartnots temple – the pearl of the 7th century architecture which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage. Overnight at the hotel inYerevan.
Day 3:Yerevan – Garni – Geghard – Sevan- Yerevan

Drive to Geghard monastery inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage list. Geghard monastery is the unsurpassable masterpiece of the 13th century Armenian architecture. Some of the churches 0 of the complex are masterfully hewn in a huge rock. The complex is rich in subtle sculptural 0 embellishments and many striking khachkars (cross-stones). Departure to Garni Temple. Garni temple which towers over a triangular cape, is the unique survived example of heathen culture in Armenia. After adopting Christianity in 301 the pagan temple lost its significance and the fortress of Garni became the summer residence of the kings. Lunch time.Departure to Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater alpine mountain lakes in the world. The beautiful landscape and the crystal water serve nice preconditions for excellent rest. Visit Sevanavank Monastery. Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 4:Yerevan – Khor Virap – Echmiadzin – Zvartnots- Yerevan

Breakfast . Sightseeing tour to Khor-Virap monastery the importance of which is connected with Gregory the Illuminator, who introduced Christianity to Armenia. It is a wonderful masterpiece situated on top of a hill. The monastery looks like a castle where everybody has the hint to sit and dream while admiring the beauty of the church. The highlight is the stunning view to the biblical Mt. Ararat. Drive to Echmiadzin – the place where the only Begotten descended. Day 5:Yerevan free day

Free Day. No Guide, no driver. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 6: Tbilisi -Mtskheta -Tbilisi

Early morning transfer to Sadakhlo border. Meet Georgian guide. Transfer to Tbilisi.

Lunch time. Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia. Founded in the 5 th century AD by Vakhtang Gorgasali, the Georgian King of Kartli (Iberia) and made into a capital in the 6th century, Tbilisi is a significant industrial, social, and cultural center.
We embark on a walking tour of the city, passing through the old quarters and the centre, with its famous sulphur springs along the Mtkvari River. Traditional houses with balconies and grape vines accompany our stroll towards Narikhala the 4th century fort overlooking the city. The fort provides an exquisite view of the city and region.

In the afternoon we drive to Mtskheta – the ancient capital of eastern Georgia. Georgia’s conversion to Christianity occurred in Mtskheta in 337 AD and it is considered one of Georgia’s most important religious centers. ST. Nino erected the first Christian cross and the first churches were built here. We will visit the monasteries of Jvari (6-7th), perched on a cliff overlooking Mtskheta Sveti-Tskhoveli cathedral (11th century). According to legend, Christ’s is thus expected to appear here on the day of reckoning to speak to the people. Dinner and overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 7 : Tbilisi – Ananuri-Gudauri-Kazbegi-Tbilisi 

After breakfast we drive to Kazbegi. Kazbegi (1700m) is the only town in Khevi province and is situated in 15km from the Russian border. We stay all day in Kazbegi region and walk in the area discovering local villages and traditions. We walk up to Gergeti Tsminda Sameba Trinity Church, built in the 14th century situated on the hill (2100m). From this spot you have an unforgettable view of Mount Kazbegi, rising to 5033 meters and covered with glaciers and permafrost. This is one of the absolute highlights of our trip. According to the legend, the titan Prometheus who brought fire to men was chained on the mount Kazbek. Dinner and overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 8: Tbilisi- Telavi- Signagi -Tbilisi

After breakfast we drive to Kakheti region (famous wine making region of Georgia, rich of various sorts of wine). After city tour in Telavi  we drive to Signagi witch is one of the smallest towns with a population of 2,146. Sighnaghi’s economy is dominated by production of wine and traditional carpets. The town is also known for its landscapes and historical monuments and has recently turned into an important center of Georgia’s tourist industry. We will have a walking tour of this “middle-ages” city. Dinner and overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 9: Tbilisi free day. Additional optional tours

Free Day. No Guide, no driver. Overnight at the hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 10:Departure
